VMware Infrastructure 3 Release Notes part deux
VMware, VMware ESX, Virtual Center January 24th. 2008, 7:26pmJust a gentle reminder for those of you upgrading to ESX 3.5 and/or Virtualcenter 2.5 that the release notes have been updated here.
Some notable updates include-
- Unexpected Restarts of Virtual Machines on ESX Server 3.0.1 Might Occur When Upgrading to VirtualCenter 2.5 or When Adding ESX Server 3.0.1 to VirtualCenter 2.5 (KB 1003401) NEW
- Unexpected Restarts of Virtual Machines on ESX Server 3.0.1 Might Occur When Upgrading to VirtualCenter 2.5 or When Adding ESX Server 3.0.1 to VirtualCenter 2.5 (KB 1003401)
- For SQL Server 2000, Do Not Grant or Revoke the System Administrators Role to Satisfy the Database Permission Requirements When Upgrading to VirtualCenter 2.5 (KB 1003346) NEW
- Using Analysis for Consolidation in VirtualCenter Server For the First Time Might Result in Non-Responsive VI Client (KB 1003300) NEW
- NEW: Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) support for virtual machines—ESX Server 3i version 3.5 supports virtual machines configured for IPv6.
